Me
I am Wenni, product designer based in San Francisco
GoogleVoice search
I led unified voice product design and strategy across Google surfaces using Gemini A2A models, delivering a cohesive experience for both short-tail commands and complex conversational queries.
This work informed a broader voice-first user journey effort, and I went on to lead a larger voice initiative spanning Chrome and Material.

YoutubeLearning
I led the product design for a 0-to-1 product — paid course on YouTube — letting education creators to monetize their contents in whole new way. I owned strategy, execution, resources distribution and team leadership as both an IC and a manager.
I managed AI-driven interactive video learning effort in Learning team. We restructured video learning into the steps of: Learn > Practice > Explore, and developed products like study guide, quizzes, flashcards, AI tutor etc.
YoutubeWatch
In YouTube watch team, I led video understanding and navigation, launched flagship features — Video Chapters and Key moments — which drove platform-wide engagement and secured 2 patents.
I also launched a series of signature video navigation features like Double tap to seek, Precision Seeking, Heatmaps, Zooming, etc. setting some of the most iconic industry standards for video interactions.
Before that, I worked a various features like YouTube donations, video downloads, auto play.
